Legio Nova porcelain is durable enough to successfully play the role of everyday tableware, suitable for washing in the dishwasher. With its refined grooves, in a very elegant way it surrounds the frame of the plate, the glazed, shiny surface of the Legio Nova tableware is perfect for dinner, holidays and on any occasion when you want the table to look particularly presentable. Legio Nova porcelain was designed on the basis of porcelain from the Legio series created in the late 90s in cooperation with the designer Ole Palsby. Legio porcelain It is characterized by a minimalist design, Legio Nova is more refined, it has been enriched with refined grooves, it was designed in cooperation with the National Culinary Team of Denmark. The design process was inspired by the culinary team and with attention to the art of cooking. The central part of the tableware remained intact to perfectly present the dish, and the frame of the plate was refined to add an elegant touch. The Legio and Legio Nova series blend perfectly together and contrast with each other, so it's worth mixing them together.

Legio Nova plates are robust enough for everyday use, and are obviously completely dishwasher-safe. With its refined grooves which elegantly frame the food and the glossy glazed surface, the Legio Nova dinner service is equally suited for dinner parties and festive events where you want to make your table particularly presentable. In addition to plates, the series also comprises bowls, serving dishes, jugs, vases and many other pieces that add the finishing touch to a well-laid table – and new pieces are being added all the time.

FROM OLE PALSBY TO THE NATIONAL CULINARY TEAM OF DENMARK

The Legio Nova design is based on the Legio tableware that was introduced in collaboration with the designer Ole Palsby in the late 1990s. While Legio is characterised by a minimalist design, the Legio Nova plates are more refined and detailed, and have been developed in collaboration with the National Culinary Team of Denmark. The design process was very much inspired by the team's culinary art and by the care that goes into their craft. The central part of the plate is therefore framed by elegant grooves to enhance the food presentation. The two series go extremely well together, and can certainly be mixed and matched, as the grooves on the Legio Nova pieces contrast beautifully with the perfectly smooth Legio.
